Group buys Camden Ferry Terminal office building for $16.5 million
A group involving the family of South Jersey insurance executive George Norcross has acquired the 100,000-square-foot Ferry Terminal office building on the Camden waterfront for $16.5 million, Norcross said an a release on Monday.
The group, which also includes the owners of NFI Industries, a Cherry Hill distribution and logistics firm, and executives of the Michaels Organization, a real estate developer in Marlton, closed on the purchase on Sept. 15, according to the release.
A venture between Vibrant Development Group LLC of Philadelphia and Columbus, Ohio-based Steiner & Associates completed construction of the Ferry Terminal building in 2007. Current tenants include BB&T bank, Catapult Learning LLC, and Webimax LLC, according to the release.
Norcross is chairman of Cooper University Health Care in Camden and executive chairman of Marlton- and Philadelphia-based insurance broker Conner Strong & Buckelew.
