Mel's estranged wife, Robyn, and their children know all about it. Robyn filed for divorce on April 13.

Oksana's no fool.

news, a settlement has been reached in screenwriter Benedict Fitzgerald's lawsuit against Mel over "The Passion of the Christ."

Fitzgerald sued Mel and several film companies for $10 million in February 2008, claiming that Mel and others vastly understated the budget for the 2004 blockbuster. Fitzgerald's suit claimed Mel told him the budget for the movie would be in the $4 million to $7 million range, but that it was significantly higher.

Fitzgerald also claimed Mel told him he would not receive any money from the film, but considered it a gift of his faith. (Mel actually became richer than sin from "Passion.")

Lawyers for Fitzgerald also claimed Mel spent tens of thousands of dollars on his children's education while filming in Italy (hey, trips to Italy are expensive, especially when you bring the family) and paid a chiropractor $78,000. They say those expenses lowered payments to Fitzgerald.

Unfortunately, no details of the settlement were filed.

Nixon shines at equality rally

At the Love, Peace and Marriage Equality rally for gay rights in New York City Sunday, "Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon really got in the spirit.

Us Weekly reports she showed off a diamond engagement ring given to her by education activist Christine Marinoni, her girlfriend of nearly six years.

New York Gov. David Paterson has offered a bill legalizing same-sex marriage in the state and that seems to have given Cynthia the impetus to tie the knot.

Cynthia has said she would wed "if it became legal in New York.

"I don't really want to get married to get married pretend. I think we'd like to do it in a real, actual, legal way that the state would recognize."

Cynthia has two children, Samantha, 12, and Charles, 6, from a prior relationship with Danny Mozes.

Eminem has a Freelapse

There may not be any jobs in Michigan, but at least there's affordable entertainment.

Eminem is planning a free show in Detroit today to coincide with the release of his album "Relapse."

He announced plans for the show on his MySpace page. Fans lined up for tickets yesterday morning at Record Time in the Detroit suburb of Roseville.

DJ Jazzy Jeff will be a special guest at the show.

The freebie show comes after Eminem and Jimmy Kimmel flew about 200 laid-off auto workers to L.A. for the rapper's Friday appearance on Kimmel's TV show.

Weinstein Co. boss Harvey Weinstein broke the news to reporters yesterday at an event to promote her forthcoming musical "Nine."

Penelope Cruz and the French Riviera? Isn't that a little bit much for reporters to ask for?

the offended class is Sen. Ramon Revilla of the Philippines.

Revilla is mad at Alec Baldwin because, in response to a question about having more children, the divorced Baldwin told David Letterman last week that he was "thinking about getting a Filipino mail-order bride at this point . . . or a Russian one."

Revilla said yesterday that Baldwin's comment was "insensitive and uncalled for" and an insult to millions of Filipinos.

Wouldn't it have been more insensitive if Baldwin had said for his mail-order bride he was thinking about anyone but a Filipino? That would have been rude.

* Donald Trump is suing writer

Timothy O'Brien in a Camden courtroom for claiming in a 2006 book that Trump's net worth was between $150 million and $250 million.

Trump says he's worth several billion dollars - and that O'Brien knew as much.

Trump says determining his net worth is complicated because it's constantly in flux - and depends partly on his feelings.

His feelings? When Tattle feels like a million bucks it doesn't actually translate into a million bucks. *
