The Ardensingers will present Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta about the stong-willed title character's stand against her arranged marriage. Princess Ida chooses to ignore the marriage contract and lock herself away among her supporters at the women's university that she runs. Her betrothed, Prince Hilarion, vows to win her love by infiltrating the university disguised as a new female student, while his father tries to use military force to make the marriage take place. Thirty craft and antique vendors will be showing their wares in Parkesburg on Saturday. A silent auction will feature gift certificates, artwork, jewelry, handmade items, antiques, themed gift baskets and more. Additional items for purchase include 40 varieties of annuals and perennials as part of a plant sale, cakes and treats at the bake table and used books. Children's activities are also planned. Nick Lazzarini with Brandywine Ballet

Nick Lazzarini, winner of Fox Television's "So You Think You Can Dance" will perform with the Brandywine Ballet Company at its Spring 2007 show. Lazzarini will join in the performance of Frank's Place, an original choreography piece about love and family set to the music of Frank Sinatra and Big Band musicians.
