A woman died after she was shot three times Wednesday night in North Philadelphia.
A woman died after she was shot three times Wednesday night in North Philadelphia.
Police said the shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Sterner Street.
Police said the woman, identified Thursday as 47-year-old Brenda Navarro, of the city's Hartranft section, was shot in the head, neck, and shoulder.
Medics pronounced her dead at the scene at 7:56 p.m.
The shooter, police said, was in a green Chevrolet Trailblazer. No arrests have been made and the motive for the killing remained unknown Thursday.
