1 critical, 2 stable after shooting in North Philly Chinese restaurant

Three people were shot inside a Chinese restaurant in North Philadelphia overnight, leaving one person in critical condition and two others hospitalized.

Philadelphia police said three victims were inside the  No.#1 Kitchen at 5th and Cumberland streets ordering food when three men came inside the establishment and tried to rob them.

A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times and is in critical condition at Temple University Hospital, police said.

A 20-year-old man was shot once in the hand and is in stable condition at Temple; a 19-year-old man who was shot twice in the leg and arm is also stable.

A cell phone and $20 were taken from the 20-year-old man, police said. It isn't known yet whether anything was taken from the other two victims in the 12:40 a.m. incident.

No arrests have been made.

East Detectives were searching for two black males, both with dark complections and wearing dark clothing. One had a mustache and beard.  The suspects fled west on foot on Cumberland. Police were keeping an eye out for a older, white Pontiac Grand Am.

Detectives say the investigation is continuing.
