On the market: A renovated three-bedroom Tudor in Haverford for $469,900
Among recent upgrades are all new windows, a new patio, and two remodeled bathrooms.
When Joe Sabatini moves soon with his wife, Danielle, to Chester County, he says they’ll be looking for their last home.
“We want to say we’re done moving,” says Joe, sales manager for an auto dealership.
This may be because they put so much work into their current home, a corner property in the Pilgrim Gardens section of Haverford Township.
They bought the three-bedroom, 2½-bath home in 2018 after renting in Broomall. Renovations included converting to natural gas, building a new patio, waterproofing the basement, redoing two of the bathrooms, replacing every window, and doing major landscaping.
“The bones are nice, but we put in a lot of work,” he says.
The house sits on a large, double-wide lot and has a total square footage of 2,760.
“It’s different from the other houses in the neighborhood,” Danielle says. “It flows really nicely. You’re not smack up against your neighbor.”
The house has two separate living/family rooms with a total of 10 windows and sufficient space for formal dining.
The kitchen is newly updated with granite countertops, Shaker-style cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances.
The basement is fully finished for additional entertaining space and could easily be adapted as a media room.
Upstairs, one of the two secondary bedrooms has an additional sunroom off the back. The primary bedroom has ample closet space and an en suite bathroom.
The house has both central heating and cooling and radiator heat.
It is in the Haverford School District and has a three-car driveway and easy access to Route 1 and major shopping areas.
It is listed by Dan Baer of Compass Pennsylvania for $469,900.
