Man fatally shot in Olney
The victim was shot four times while in the 200 block of West Wellens Street.
A 24-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday evening in the city’s Olney section, police said.
Just before 6:15 p.m., the victim was shot four times while outside in the 200 block of West Wellens Street. Police took victim to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:29 p.m.
Police identified the victim Friday morning as Markeise Chandler of the 100 block of Roselyn Street in Olney.
Investigators have not said if they have established a possible motive and no arrests have been reported.
