Man killed in East Germantown shooting

An unidentified man was fatally wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in the city’s East Germantown section, police said.

Just before 9:20 p.m., the man, described as in his late teens or early 20s, was outside on the 6200 block of Ogontz Avenue when he was shot in the face, right shoulder, and left arm. He was transported by police to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police said they found a weapon but reported no arrests or other details.
