Learn about Kwanzaa at the Garden State Discovery Museum on Wednesday and Friday as Tahira Productions leads interactive stories and songs. The event will incorporate the symbols and principles of this African American celebration.

Keep busy over the holiday break at the Cherry Hill Library with the Teen Activity Board. There will be a guitar hero competition, a horror movie matinee, Official BookCrossing.com Zone and more. at the Burlington County Library on Friday. The superhero with the gift for rhyme returns in this live-action reimagination of the cartoon series. After a lab accident mysteriously gives an ordinary beagle unimaginable superpowers, including the ability to speak, he vows to protect the citizens of Capital City, including a special spaniel named Polly Purebred. Popcorn will be served. The movie, rated PG, runs 82 minutes.
