Disney musical.

Hear new and old Disney favorites during "Pirates and Princesses for the Playground" today at the Scottish Rite Theater. The production benefits the building of a new playground at Collingswood's Knight Park. There will be food and a chance to get photographed with favorite Disney characters.

Parrot Head Family Picnic.

Share a laid back afternoon with fellow Jimmy Buffet lovers during a Parrot Head Family Picnic today at Kennedy Park in Somers Point. The Jersey Shore Parrot Head Club will listen to music, play games and chow down. Each family is asked to bring a dish to share, beverages and beach chairs. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided by the Ocean Drive Club of Sea Isle City.

World Ocean's Day Celebration.

Celebrate World Ocean's Day, along with the cast and crew at Adventure Aquarium. Included in today's celebration will be many area conservationists, a 530-pound artificial reef ball, a presentation by the aquarium's seals, and an appearance by actor/comedian Joe Piscopo. Guests will learn how to protect the ocean. They will discover New Jersey's reefs and wetlands. They will meet volunteer divers and learn about their equipment. They can see the aquarium's seals present a "thank you" to representatives of the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, Brigantine. The daylong event will feature displays, activities and giveaways presented by various conservation-minded organizations.

Play auditions.

Children entering sixth through 12th grade can audition for the summer stage productions of

Peter Pan, Cinderella, Seussical

and

Magic Up Our Sleeve

on June 11, 16 and 17 in the Dennis Flyer Theatre, Camden County College. Those auditioning must be registered Summer Stage participants or register at the time of the auditions. All audition materials will be provided.
