Cool summer nights

When we stayed up

And watched the fireflies dance

I remember when. . .

You first called me yours

And wrapped your arms around me

And we watched the sunset together

I remember that. . .

Winter day

When we laid side by side

In the freezing snow

I remember why. . .

You held me when I hurt

You sat with me for hours

And held me as I cried

I remember how. . .

We laughed until we cried

Over are own stupidity

And how close we really are

I remember. . .

You said I love you

I said it back

And we became one
