Bus yard fire closes 4 schools in Bordentown

A fire in  the Bordentown Regional School District's bus yard has forced officials to close four of the district's five schools today.

Bordentown Regional High School is opening two hours late, but without transportation.

Closed are the Clara Barton Elementary School, MacFarland Intermediate School, Peter Muschal Elementary School and Bordentown Regional Middle School.

A Fox29 TV news report  from the scene showed 11 burned out small school buses.

Both the school district and police said they were preparing statements.
