The fate of the bankrupt Philadelphia Energy Solutions refinery complex, shut down since a catastrophic June fire and explosion, hung in the balance on Friday.
“We can change what’s going on in this country,” organizer Deja Lynn Alvarez said. “We have the power, now we need to seize it.”
After allegations against a former Art Museum manager, an outside firm will help the institution understand "what brought us here and most importantly what we need to change to be sure it never happens again."
Gov. Ralph Northam issued the ban, citing what he called credible threats of “armed militia groups storming our Capitol.”
